Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which curtain or blind style will work in my home?
That’s exactly what our home consultation is for. Our team has over 350 years of experience helping Reading homeowners choose the right window furnishings for their space.
When we approach our work we consider several different elements. For example, the amount of natural light, the height of your ceilings, your existing colour palette, and how you use the room day to day. You can browse our inspiration gallery to get a sense of the styles we work with.
Do you handle measuring and fitting, or do I need to arrange that separately?
We handle everything. Measuring and fitting are both included as part of our full service. There’s nothing for you to organise or coordinate yourself.
We visit your home twice: once for the consultation and measure, and once for the installation. Everything in between is taken care of by our team.
Can you work with unusual or awkward window shapes?
That’s one of our specialities. Made to measure is specifically designed for windows that don’t fit standard sizing, whether that be bay windows, arched windows or circular windows.
Unusually tall or wide spans are also well within our expertise. If your windows have been difficult to dress in the past, a consultation with our team is a great place to start. Contact us to arrange yours.
